ABOUT

"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising its shame and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

Hebrews 12:2

Music and writing have been a way of life for my family for many generations. My earliest memories are ones of watching my mom sing and lead at church, and my dad with his guitar, singing songs with us at home. Both parents serving as Pastors and gifted in writing, speaking and leadership, put a love for the local church in my heart from the moment I was born.

The first song I ever wrote was in a songwriting class I took at Anderson University with Jay Rouse. I had grown up leading worship as a teenager for my peers at our all teens worship service called Hot Church that grew to over 600+ students attending weekly.  But the songwriting class was my first experience of sharing a piece of my story through melody and lyric. Author of My Life, written at age 19, continues to be a treasured song that has been shared with over 100 churches and coffee houses in the United States, Honduras and Okinawa, Japan.

On summer breaks during college, I toured with friends, leading worship at churches, camps, conventions and coffee houses. During the school year, I sang in One Hope and the Anderson University Chorale on stages across Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, New York and Europe. I also helped start and lead worship at a college service called the Open Door that gathered 100+ students on Sunday evenings and Tuesday nights to worship and hear God's word.

After college, I recorded my first all original album Broken Person. I shared my music at churches in the United States selling over 1,000 CDs.

As a military family, we have moved ten times in the last 19 years.  I have served with multiple worship bands in the local church, with a wide range of backgrounds: Church of God, Baptist, United Methodist, Lutheran, Non-Denominational and Evangelical Friends Church. From churches of 100 to 4,000+ members, I have experience working with all sizes of teams and bands, with varying musical abilities. I have also done contract work as a worship leader and songwriter at churches and conferences.

This year I've had the opportunity to write and record again! I'm excited to release a series of worship songs that will be available over the next several months on all media platforms.

My husband, Aaron and I have three wonderful children, Finnegan, Miles and Evelyn, who light up our world.

The countless relationships built and opportunities I've had to collaborate with other gifted musicians across the United States have given me a great love for the local church and for God's people. I am grateful for the path God has provided to share about His love through writing and music.
